MBPFW - day 1

Today the first show at 16 o'clock has start up the whole Prague fashion weekend event. With a trend fashion show which I have attended, we have seen various designers getting together their latest collection and show casting their view of new trends. The whole fashion and chaotic busy atmosphere has started. Seeing pretty models on a runway, beautiful hand made garments and fashionable people around is real excitement. I do enjoy these times of a year. You get inspiration around and getting a chance for network.

What I think about the whole idea of Fashion Week thing is that I would appreciate more if in Prague would be one big Fashion Week than rather 3 fashion weeks. I agreed, that every event has its organisations and its atmosphere, but people don't have whole month to catch up on every collection and trends as well as on attending on those shows. And on top of it, world fashion shows are being priorities and people would read for months about all shows and fashion overall. It is way too much, in my opinion.
The main purpose of Fashion Weeks are to promote and advertise designers, clothes and fashion. It is a whole let's say "advertisement campaign". And indeed, a successful one. I like people when they get there and are attending shows when they care, understand and have feeling towards fashion and all around it.
Oh well, everybody got different vision, approach and reasons of attending. Whether it's just to maintain their reputation, job call, getting inspiration, etc.

What are your main reasons of attending fashion shows? :)

Dnes v 16 hod začal celý program Prague fashion weekend. S prvním fashion show trend show, na kterou jsem se zúčastnila, viděli jsme různé kolekce pár návrhářů, které se snažili sestavit nejnovejěší trendy v modním světe. Celá chaotická a vymodněná atmosféra začala. Vidět krásné modelky a modelové na molu, krásné ručně udělané výtvory a vymodněné lidi kolem je celé vzrušující, užívám si těchle chvil v roce. Možnost dostat inspiraci a kontakty.

Co si myslím o celém tom nápadu Fashion Week je to, že bych ocenila kdyby Praha měla jeden velký a pořádný Fashion Week a ne 3. Chápu, že každá akce má svoje organizátory a svoji vlastní atmosféru, ale lidi nemají čas pochytit všechno co se teď děje v modním světě, hlavně když další hlavní Fashion Weeks jsou kolem. A také nemají čas to vše číst aby byli informovány o všem co se děje a také chodit na tyto akce. Hlavním cílem těchto Fashion Weeks je jen propagace těch designeru a oblečení. Je to celá jedna velká kampaň kdybych to takhle měla říct. Ale ano, velice úspěšná kampaň. Mám ráda, když se všechny ty lidi na tyto akce nahromadí, ti lidi co mají smysl a svůj názor na modu a vše kolem. Ale i tak, každý má svůj představu, nápad, názor and důvody proč sem chodí. Jestli je to jen o reputaci, práce, pro inspiraci atd.
